doctors letters

Several doctors shared their gratitude
and the beneficial effects of our wish fulfilments by sending
us letters.
“This is just to voice my
appreciation of the work done by your organisation. The
children I treat have a diagnosis of cancer and the treatment
includes intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
Often these children come from financially deprived families
or have stressful social circumstances, and for such families
the diagnosis cancer is very much the last straw. The diagnosis
not only affects the child but also the siblings, parents
and sometimes the grandparents as well. In such a situation
for us to be able to point them towards the direction of
an organisation which can arrange time away for the whole
family, is very uplifting. The fact that there are people
who care and realise what these families are going through,
means a lot at a time like this. The trip itself often gives
them the breathing space that they need to come to terms
with their circumstances. It also gives them something positive
to look forward to while the child is going through sometimes
horrendous side effects, both physical and psychological.
With the best wishes for the future of this organisation."

"As a child neurologist, responsible
for the care of children with severe
neuromuscular diseases, I personally wish to thank your
organisation for the efforts made to give some of my patients
the vacation of their lifetime.
These families were very thankful for the professional organisation
of their
stay. They enjoyed a fantastic week. These families cherish
unforgettable memories. We know that we cannot cure our
patients. But we also know that we can do a lot to improve
the quality of life of these children and their parents.
Initiatives from companies such as yours play an important
role in this. I sincerely hope that a lot more children
can make their wish come true. A sincere thank you."
