Ambassadress - Gella
Since 10 March 2009, the Belgian ex-judo player GELLA VANDECAVEYE is our Ambassadress. Together with her mentor and manager Eddy Vinckier, they mainly help us develop our network of contacts to promote our fundraising and our name awareness.
"It is my duty to get involved in the community. I motivate and encourage others to follow suit and to volunteer in support of Beyond the Moon. I carefully considered my choice for this organisation. Indigenous people are very often left in the cold, because there are so many charitable fundraisers in favour of poverty and natural disasters around the world," says Gella. "Children suffering from a serious illness is an injustice. Unfortunately, they cannot fully enjoy a carefree and joyful children's life and do not have much chances to have fun or to practice sport. I lead a privileged life and I therefore support Beyond the Moon to render this unfairness more bearable for them and their immediate family."
