Beyond the Moon offers families with a seriously ill child the opportunity to enjoy a memorable, cost-free vacation in a child-friendly environment and to spend carefree quality time together, far away from hospitals and treatments.
We annually strive to:
- to book one family vacation per week
- to raise sufficient funds to finance these vacations
- to offer families long-lasting memories
- to increase our name awareness
The moon in our logo brightens up the often dark and painful days of these children and their families. Our Moon symbolises the carefree family vacation that reaches beyond their expectations and the joyful memories that will be cherished forever, especially should the sick child pass away. We strive to make this Beyond the Moon vacation give them hope, strength and joy.
In difficult times, we will also assume our responsibility and will endeavour to reach our target of one family vacation per week. A seriously ill child cannot look far into the future nor make plans. Beyond the Moon can count on a number of regular partners, which annually cover up the association's operational expenses. Each euro that you donate to our association is therefore entirely (100%) used to arrange vacations for families with a seriously ill child.
