On a sunny working day (23/6/2023), the employees of EG, a Belgian pharmaceutical company, came together for a sports day full of excitement and team spirit, all for Beyond the Moon. Teams were formed and the competitive spirit kicked in. The day flew by, filled with sporting challenges, smiling faces and positive energy. They cycled, ran, walked, played darts and table football together.  

However, the highlight of this day was the announcement of the proceeds for Beyond the Moon. After all, the employees had committed themselves to raise sponsorship funds, which were donated by EG. 

"We are proud to hold our sports day for Beyond the Moon for the second year in a row. A charity that is in line with our purpose 'Caring for people's health' and of which we actually see the result of our support. The family testimonials we receive make our support very tangible and transparent. This makes it very personal, and we are happy to see these families enjoying a carefree family vacation," said Jef Hus, CEO EG, during his speech. 

"Our sports day for Beyond the Moon is not only a day full of fun and sporting achievements, but also a moment when employees feel connected to each other, and to a good cause. The event brought not only financial support, but also a sense of accomplishment and involvement in the shared pursuit of making a difference in the life of a sick child," continued Sigrid Wolfs, HR Director EG.
