During a Moon Moment — a carefree holiday — Beyond the Moon brings families back together. A chance to step away from it all, with breathing time and space to reconnect and regain strength. Our annual goal: offer a Moon Moment to a family with a sick child each week of the year.

Without public funding, Beyond the Moon relies on the support of businesses, service clubs, schools, associations, and individuals. Requests for a Moon Moment increase every year. Our ambition is clear: we strive for one family stay per week. The number of families we can help directly depends on the funds we are able to raise each year.

Beyond the Moon closely works together with professors, doctors, and medical professionals from various hospitals and healthcare institutions (inter)nationally.
They refer families with a sick child to our charity, either spontaneously or upon request.
Thanks to their medical expertise, they help us select families who, based on our seven criteria, qualify for a cost- and carefree Moon moment.
Volunteering is the greatest gift you can offer: a little of your time and a big piece of your heart.
At Beyond the Moon, volunteers dedicate themselves not only with their hands and heart, but also pro bono with their knowledge and professional skills.
