Volunteering for Beyond the Moon means a great deal to me. It is deeply rewarding to devote my time selflessly to families who need it so much. Perhaps my greatest contribution is simply being there for them and offering a listening ear when they wish to share their story. It gives me immense satisfaction to know that children and their parents can smile again, and that a child, even if only for a moment, can simply be a child once more. Through contact with these families, you also learn to put your own life into perspective. I am always happy to take part in their events and lend a helping hand.
